Cynthia first became a professional in 1992 at age 17 during a year between high school and college. Once in college, she reinstated her amateur status while attending the University of Colorado in Boulder, CO.

During this time she continued showing her jumper, Callahan, in the Preliminary and A/O Jumpers and the CHJA Open Jumpers, winning many year end awards including CHJA's "Horse of the Year", as well as the 1996 CHJA Medal finals and the Deborah Donohue Medal the same year.

After finishing school with a B.A. in Biochemistry and a year at Amgen, Cynthia returned to the ring as a professional working as an assistant trainer in Arvada. During 3 1/2 years there she accumulated two more "Horse of the Year" awards and many more year-end Championships on customers' horses.

In October 2003, she moved to Boulder to start MooreLand Farm where she resides today.
